THE PHOTOGRAPHY + STORYTELLING WORKSHOP

I had the amazing opportunity to prepare and deliver a 4-day, 16-hour photography and storytelling workshop for the Crown Prince Foundation of Jordan. With the help of an Arabic translator, I was able to connect with 16 students throughout the week. Each day included a well-paced mix of learning — one hour of lessons, an hour and a half of activities and review, and another hour and a half spent shooting outside. Sharing my documentary photography style and guiding students in shaping narratives with their photos was such a rewarding experience. It also sparked a new love for teaching, and I’d jump at the chance to do more work like this in the future.
