15 Minutes from Anywhere is part of my ongoing “Welcome to Chattanooga” series, which I began in the summer of 2025 after my wife and I moved to the Scenic City. We were exploring all the newness around us, and I wanted to bring along the people who’ve lived here for years to remind them of how much they love this place. Inspired by my friend Adam’s Chattanooga-based clothing brand, Nativemade, and its slogan “Love Where You Live,” the series celebrates the overlooked moments that make this city special. In this short film, we wake up early and make the fifteen-minute drive up Lookout Mountain to Sunset Rock arriving just in time for sunrise. I know, quite the newcomer mistake.
