Luminesce Is an app design i created to explore what it would look like to create an effective tool for those seeking to grow in relationship with Jesus. Designed to foster an environment of spiritual growth the app prepares our hearts, minds and souls to live a life of worship, approaching our lives with greater awareness of God's loving hand all around us. The app design provides pathways of prayer and meditation in the forms Of "Heaven” reflecting the the command to Love God, and "Earth” reflecting the command to Love your neighbor. this project was very thought provoking as i dove into what it would look like to bridge the gap of technology, the earthly realm and the spiritual realm. while seeking to create a restorative app, as opposed to an exploitative one, i made a lot of deliberate choices with the flow of the virtual space as well as the overall aesthetic.
