XANDA
XANDA
Xanda inspires a balance between the 1920s, booming America and the traditional grandeur established within the original black-letter-press. The type establishes a broader letter width than most black letter type, yet introduces intrigue and flourish not so evident in the blooming New York feel.
The black-letter sharpness of the letters contrasts with the overall roundness of many of the forms, drawn from the likes of Caslon. Calligraphic yet geometric, Xanda introduces both a hand-written feel while establishing a foundation that gives itself to the possibility of body font usage.
