The ARCH Retreat

Head of Communications & Brand Identity Designer (Nov 2023 - Aug 2024)

I led the rebrand and communications strategy for The ARCH Retreat, an organization dedicated to helping first-year students find meaningful community at The University of Georgia and grow in their faith in college. With leadership changing annually, it was crucial to establish a clear brand identity and a structured internal and external communication strategy to ensure continuity for future teams and continued growth of the retreat.

What I Did & Why It Mattered:

  • Designed a cohesive brand identity – including logos, typography, color palette, and visual guidelines – to create a recognizable and lasting visual presence that would outlive any single year’s leadership.

  • Led a team of internal and external communications, driving a social media strategy that tripled follower growth and increased registrations by 30%, ensuring more students were engaged and informed before they even arrived.

  • Directed creative production and live content, oversaw the creation of daily recap videos during the retreat to capture the energy in real time and foster deeper connections both during and after the event.

  • Developed a structured vision and communication framework, making it easier for new leadership to step in and carry the mission forward without losing clarity or momentum.

This work provided ARCH with a stronger, more recognizable presence and a sustainable foundation, ensuring the retreat continues to connect, equip, and send students into Athens with purpose.
